Countersunk Torfix® CSA Concrete Screws
Our Torfix® CSA Concrete Screw Anchors cuts its own threads into concrete, brick and hollow block timber battens, trunking, track and general components into concrete and masonry.
They are available in two diameters 4.8mm and 6.3mm and either countersunk or hexagon/slotted head styles. As a guide these screws should have a minimum of 25mm embedment into the substrate so for example a 57mm long version will have a maximum fixture thickness of 32mm.
Replaces small diameter expansion anchors, plugs and screws in light to medium duty applications. The special blue coating provides the Torfix® CSA Concrete Screw Anchors with excellent rust resistance. As these fasteners a fully steel they provide greater fire resistance than for example plugs and screws making them ideal for fire lining and fire critical applications. As these screws don’t rely on expansion to obtain a fixing, they are a better fixing solution for precast concrete beams, ceilings, soffits etc. They are also ideal for use in ‘Bison’ type floors or beams.

To install, drill a pilot hole using either the special Torfix® CSA 4.8 or 6.3mm SDS drill bits, slide the Torfix® CSA sleeve adaptor over the drill bit and with either the hex driver or a phillips bit drive the screw home.

Torfix® CSA Concrete Screw Accessories
Use our Torfix® CSA Concrete Screw Anchor Installation Kit for the fastest and efficient way of installing the full range of our Torfix® CSA Concrete screws.
Suitable for 4.8mm and 6.3mm anchors in all lengths.
Installation Method:
1. Select appropriate Torfix® CSA Concrete screws size and drill bit.
2. Drill directly into the substrate, avoiding over-drilling.
3. Slide Driver Sleeve over the drill bit, insert Torfix® screw, ensuring it engages with the substrate.
4. Use a torque-controlled power tool for consistent and secure fastening.

Our Torfix® CSA Concrete Screw Anchor SDS Drill Bits have a special hexagon shank area behind the drill bit that the Torfix® CSA driver sleeve from our B551-100 Torfix® CSA Concrete Screw Anchor Installation Kit fits neatly over. This allows you to drill and drive the fixings with one machine for added speed and efficiency.
Use the 4.8 drills for 4.8mm Torfix® CSA Concrete Screws and 6.3 for the 6.3mm size.
