    In today's competitive market, time is of the essence when it comes to fixing situations. These Standard Plastic Batten Packers are made in increments of 1mm thick which are colour coded for easy identity. Available from 1 - 6mm thick.

    They are also sometimes known as shims or Broadfix Packers. Made in the UK from natural polypropylene with a 50% recycled content resulting in a high compression strength product which prevents swelling and is rot proof

    Either order in specific sizes or a mixed bag.

Blue60 Fire Rated Packers

Our range of Blue60 Fire Rated Packers are designed for use in conjunction with our Blue 60 Fire Rated Foam. They are inserted around the door frame fixings to provide support, rigidity and alignment of the frame prior to foaming up the frame with the Blue60 foam. The packers must then be left in place once the foam is dry.

The combination of Blue60 foam and Blue60 packers provide up to 60 minute fire protection on timber doorsets without the use of additional mastics or sealants and are suitable for both timber and metal stud partitioning. Our Blue60 fire rated packers are available in three thicknesses which can be combined to achieve a proper fitting and are acoustically tested up to 43dB. In order to maintain fire rating certification, these Fire Rated Packers must only be used with Blue 60 Fire Rated Foam.

Blue60 Fire Rated Packers are 100mm long and 15mm wide and come in 3 thicknesses 1mm, 3mm and 5mm. Each thickness has a specific coloured strip for easy identification of what thickness they are.

  • 30 and 60 minute fire tested to BS-EN 1634-1 and BS476-22
  • Suitable for both timber and metal stud partitioning
  • Tested with softwood, MDF and hardwood frame sections
  • Ability to combine different thicknesses to achieve a proper fitting
  • Tested in gaps between 7 - 30mm
  • Acoustically tested up to 43dB
  • Supplied in bags of 100

NB: Must be used with Blue 60 Fire Rated Foam to maintain fire rating certification.
