The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) change on 25th May 2018 which changes the way in which businesses obtain and use your personal data.

The GDPR update outlines the fact that businesses must have 'opt-in' consent (documented) from individuals in order to continue sending marketing and promotional materials. For any business that breaks this rule or passes your personal data onto third parties, there will be the possibility of much larger fines than has ever been experienced before.

Your FixFirm Personal Data

FixFirm hold personal information on our customers such as full name, address, email, phone number and position in your company, as well as any notes on any communication or transactions you have had with us.

We may also hold data about the company that is obtainable from Companies House.  The basis for holding this data is ‘contractual’ so that we can adequately meet your requirements in fulfilling orders that you place with us.

We have had a GDPR audit and have all the relevant policies in place and we trust this demonstrates our commitment to exceeding expectations. 

Your data is held within a secure Content Management System or on our Customer Marketing Database held within our server. Relevant data may be shared with our carrier companies who need to know the location to which goods are to be sent, and the contact name and possibly phone details in case of difficulty in making a delivery.  In the event of non-payment of invoices, the information may also be shared with external debt collection agencies.

As you are busy people, we are not specifically asking you to opt back into our communications, but if at any time you wish to remove yourself from our mailing list, then please click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails.  We will always try and only send you relevant information that will be of benefit to you as a valued FixFirm customer.
