Our BZP DIN6923 Serrated flange nuts have an enlarged circular base flaring out at the bottom of the nut. The bearing surface of the nut has serrations which when tightened up mate into the material and forming a connection which is more resistant to loosening. With having a larger base they provide a better clamping and locking force than a standard nut.
Serrated flange nuts save the need of using a washer so can save on installation time as less components are needed for the assembly.
