Our FRF Fire Rated Expanding Foam is a B1 rated one component polyurethane foam. It is available in a 750ml hand held aerosol type or a gun applied version. Our Fire resistant B1 expanding foam expands and cures on application, bonding to most substrates and offering excellent sealing and insulating properties combined with outstanding fire resistance.
In certain joint configurations the product is fire rated to DIN4102-B1 Fire Class, to slow down the passage of flames and smoke. Due to the fact fire resistance performance depends on the specific materials, applications and your exact requirements, please refer to the latest technical data sheet or packaging and conduct your own tests/evaluation to establish this product is suitable for your specific requirements.
Our FRF B1 Fire Foam also has excellent acoustic and thermal properties and yields up to 30x its original volume. This product does not contain any propellant gases which are harmful to the ozone layer.
Ideal for sealing between separation walls, ceiling and floors, perimeter joints around window and door frames and sealing wiring and pipework apertures through walls and partitions.
Ideal for all applications where fire retardant properties are required, for example:
- Installation of door and window frames
- Filling and sealing gaps, joints and cavities
- Filling of penetrations in walls
- Heat insulation of roof construction
- Sealing of cable and pipe penetrations
- Soundproofing and sealing partition walls
- Bonding of insulation materials
- Multi-Purpose, adhesion and fixation
This Fire Foam is packaged in a case of 12 please order in case quantities where possible.

What Delivery Service(s) do FixFirm offer?
Our next day, nationwide delivery service is provided by Parcelforce & Tuffnells who enable us to provide you with a reasonably priced, consistent delivery service.
We can deliver bulky products and items that are up to six metres long. For larger consignments, we use a reliable pallet network with book-in and tail-lift options, if required.
FixFirm will do all we can to ensure our goods arrive with you on time and in good condition. Please ensure someone is available to sign for the delivery on the designated delivery day, that there is adequate access to sites and suitable hard standing for delivery vehicles. We reserve the right to make additional charges for attempted deliveries or excessive waiting times.
For orders to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scilly Isles and Guernsey, please allow up to 2-3 working days from placing your order.

Can I order and pick up my goods on the same day?
Yes, our Trade Counter ‘Fast Lane’ Service allows you to do this.
Simply place your order by phone, fax or email and we’ll have it ready for you to collect when you arrive. Our Lincoln based Trade Counter and Distribution Centre is open from 7 am to 5 pm with on-site parking at Pyke Rd, Lincoln, LN6 3QS.
Our trade counter service provides you with access to a friendly and efficient service and advice. Please note - ideally we ask for 30 minutes’ notice to be sure you aren’t kept waiting.
How do I return faulty items?
If you do receive some items that are faulty then, please give us a call and we arrange for the items to be collected from you. If you inform by 10 am we will endeavour to pick up and the goods the same day. If required, we will also send replacement items on the same day and re-credit your account once we have received and checked the faulty items.
Do you offer the Same day or Specialist Deliveries?
FixFirm recognises there are times when a special Same day or night time delivery is required to keep projects moving! Please contact our sales team who will be happy to explore costs and options with you to meet your urgent requirements.
Do you offer International Deliveries?
